Qube Global Software hosted their largest annual Customer Conference to date

September 2009

Over 200 customers attended the event on the 16th September 2009 at the purpose built Kings Place conference and events centre in the Kings Cross area of London. Customers attending included key Property, Finance and IT staff from Network Rail, Grosvenor Estates, Hammerson, CBRE, Canada Life, The Crown Estate, Lasalle Investment Management, Threadneedle, Wm Morrison Supermarkets and Grainger Trust.

The day consisted of a combination of both product and corporate content with John Cuppello, Qube Global Software’s CEO, providing an overview of developments within the company over the past 12 months. John commented; “today has been an excellent day and the biggest customer event we have held so far. It has offered users of two of our products the opportunity to come together and learn more about the benefits we can provide and share best practices of other customer organisations.”

This year the conference welcomed two keynote speakers:

Professor Douglas McWilliams, one of the UK’s leading economists, discussed how to make the best use of the mass of data available to us on a daily basis to enable accurate forecasts. This is a particularly valid topic within the property market with a growing emphasis on Business Intelligence and its importance in making relevant and informed business decisions.

Shay McConnon has a background in psychology; he has just published his 17th book on personal development and is a well known motivational speaker. Shay talked about creating successful relationships through effective communication.

Other topics discussed on the day included an overview of the latest IT trends and the benefits of Social Networking in the Property and Facilities Management Sector.
