Qube Global Software In Ireland

October 2007

Ireland is a country where Qube Global Software has been operating through a local agent since the early 1980s and now sits as a market leader with Qube on both sides of the Irish border.

Both parts of the country have seen dramatic changes over the last 10 to 15 years. The economy of the Republic of Ireland has gained remarkable strength during this period, leading to the birth of the phenomenon known as the Celtic Tiger. Northern Ireland has seen significant political development, slowly moving away from the turmoil of the past, to the point where a political settlement now appears conclusive. Inevitably greater economic stability and growth have followed in the political wake. Current business forecasts envisage much closer links between the two economies going forward, which could result in Ireland becoming a world leader from a combined economic perspective by 2020.

The success of Qube Global Software in Ireland is due to highly successful team work, long standing relationships that continue to develop, localisation and world class software and services. Les Burke of Cashelmore has been working very closely with Qube Global Software Senior Sales Consultant Paul McCarthy since early 1994 and they have developed a finely tuned sales partnership. Paul has a wealth of experience where the software is concerned, having joined Qube Global Software in 1989. Paul’s deep knowledge of the software combined with Les’s knowledge of the needs of the local markets have been key sales success factors. Both have developed long standing relationships with the customers in Ireland, with Les providing a local post sales service from an account management perspective. Qube Global Software Launch

September 2007

A new force has emerged today in the property and facilities management software market, albeit one with over 30 years experience and over 800 customers.

Qube Global Software is the new name for the ECS Group of Companies which comprises of Fraser Williams Commercial Systems, FDS Advanced Systems and Estate Computer Systems.
The merger of the three operating companies is an integral step towards a complete restructure of the company under a single management team, designed to enable it to expand into new and existing markets.

John Cuppello, CEO of Qube Global Software, stated that the restructure will facilitate a more co-ordinated approach to technical research and product development as well as projecting a consistent sales and marketing message to the market as a whole.
“Qube Global will continue to invest in and market all of its existing software applications in order to deliver high quality solutions to the property and facilities management markets. There are no plans to merge the products, but rather to improve and strengthen the entire product range by best practice” said Cuppello.

The three main product lines of the new company - Horizon, Planet and Qube – are all well-known business applications and there are no plans to change brands.

Over the next few months Qube Global Software will be undertaking an aggressive marketing campaign to unveil its new identity at a series of industry events including PCS Expo, Total Workplace Management, MAPIC, MIPIM and the Corenet Global Summit in Atlanta.
