Qube Global Software joins the Facilities Management Association (FMA)

11 May 2009

Qube Global Software, one of the worlds leading providers of Property and Facilities Management Software is pleased to announce they have joined the Facilities Management Association (FMA).

The FMA, established in 1995, represents companies trading in the Facilities Management sector within the UK. It is unlike any other FM association as it represents the employers directly. The association is undergoing a period of development since the appointment of Chris Hoar, the Director General of the association in March 2009. Hoar is transforming the organisation, increasing awareness among the FM community and developing the benefits for its members.

Qube Global Software were keen to get involved with the association at this crucial point and look forward to becoming active members. Planet is an advanced CAFM solution designed for both in-house Facilities Managers and FM Contractors. Richard Fisher, Director for the Planet product at Qube Global Software, was impressed with Chris’s commitment to, and enthusiasm for, the association. He comments, “Although companies are facing a strain at the moment due to the current economic climate, I am pleased to see that the FM market remains robust. I think it is important for companies within the FM sector to pull together to make sure our industry not only survives this downturn but also thrives. I think the FMA will play an active part in achieving this.”

Chris Hoar welcomes Qube Global Software to the growing number of companies who have joined the FMA. Chris comments “I am delighted that Qube Global Software has joined the FMA. Their range of software products will bring significant benefits to the sector. I am sure that both organisations are going to benefit from working together.”
